Interested in using yellow contact lenses? You’ll find a wide variety of contacts available on the market and they come in a rainbow of colors. While some are prescription, combining fun with practicality, others are merely for decoration.

What exactly would anyone want with colored eyes? There are plenty of ways to use these lenses. Yellow can be a great way to go if you are looking for a way to spice things up a little. This article will give you some more ideas for using them.

It’s a good idea to find out if contacts will cover eye color. Some don’t work on dark eyes, so you want to avoid those if you have darker eye colors. There are a number of colored lenses that will only work on those with blue or green irises.

These days, it’s not hard to find yellow lenses that will cover up any color. These can be used for a variety of purposes. Let’s take a look.

The great supernatural fad that is hitting the country right now means many people are putting in amber lenses for vampires and yellow ones for werewolves. You can show off your fan-dom by wearing the appropriately colored eyes for any occasion. If you want to look like a wolf, then you should look into using this color.

As an addition to a Halloween costume, yellow colored lenses are ideal. They can fit in with a wolf costume, as mentioned above, or use them for something like a witch, demon or ogre. Just about any monster costume will look far scarier if you have the awesome eyes to go with it. Get even scarier and opt for one yellow and one red eye.

You can find different shaped pupils, as well. They might come with stars or moons or even cat-like slits. You can use these for a great feline costume like a lion or tiger. Catwoman also works well with these.

Of course, you might just want to freak people out by walking around with yellow eyes. You see these types of contact lenses frequently in movies or television shows that feature demons and assorted monsters.

Remember that not all lenses are the same. Check to see what they can be used for and how long you can wear them. Many of the lenses on the market today are good for about three months once they are opened. That being said, it’s a good idea to toss them or replace them if you find they are scratching your eyes and causing irritations.

You should avoid using contacts nonstop unless they are designed to be worn 24 hours a day. If that’s the case, they probably won’t last as long, only a week or two. This is something to check before you buy, since it could affect your plans for the contacts.

You can really have fun with yellow contact lenses. They are a bit scary looking once you have them in, so use them to scare folks or make small children jump with fright! Perfect to use them with a costume.
