Two Simple Rules That Can Make Losing Weight Automatic

If you are overweight, there are certainly no shortage of options, or diets to lose weight with. Any trip to the bookstore will reveal this obvious fact about the weight loss industry.

It seems that as more and more of us struggle with our weight, there are more and more people coming up with crazy ideas to help us lose it. Many of these are great, and are based soundly on science. One of the troubles is that they can be difficult to comprehend, let alone follow.

Here I\’d like to help you with a couple quick rules of thumb on how to eat the right kinds of food. When you eat he right kinds of fats and carbohydrates, you will go a long way in naturally slimming down.

The biggest enemy to any weight loss plan is the wrong carbohydrates. Sure, you can eliminate the altogether, as many diets recommend. Several studies are starting to show that these can be effective, at least in the short term.

Believe it or not, some carbs are better than others. How can you tell the difference? Avoid anything processed. A quick and easy rule is to choose brown, if you have a choice. Brown usually means less processed.

Yellow pasta is not as good as brown pasta. White rice is not as good as brown rice. Wheat bread is better than white bread. White carbohydrates are treated almost like sugar by your body, so you can think of them as pure sugar in disguise.

Fats are another mystery to many. There are good fats, and bad fats. The general rule here is choose solid over liquid. Fats in fruits, nuts, and fish are better than fats in oils and french fries.

Just by choosing good carbs and fats over their bad counterparts, you will be going a long way to getting that sexy, attention grabbing body that you deserve. Not to mention the increased energy levels and skyrocketing self esteem that comes with it.

To find out what so many people think is the Fastest Way To Lose Weight, head right over to Cindy Burgenstein\’s Fast Weight Loss tips.

There are three areas to look out for, the waist, the tummy and the bum and thigh area, a selection of lingerie with varying degrees of control will help, the most common of these are control knickers, as well as bodies and hosiery like control tights which can also be a great figure shaper.

Another item which is a great solution to wear, under more structured clothing, is a basque, they are strapless and come to the waist with a firm cup and light boning, which is slimming and reduces the waist. They are prefect to wear under evening wear, bridal wear and any clothing that is not too sheer. They can be teamed with a control brief for complete control from bust to thigh.

Women of all sizes can enjoy the figure enhancing benefits from corset lingerie they are made to flatter you beautifully and designed to flatten the tummy and draw in the waist. They enhance and slim any woman\’s body, whether she is generously curvy or straight up and down. Corsets not only give a slimmer appearance and smaller waist, they also enhance breasts and hips provocatively, giving a feeling of intense femininity and sensuality.

There are a huge range of corset tops that have entered onto the market recently and these new corset tops are transforming what women wear and when. We now have corset tops that can be worn during formal occasions, clubbing, social nights out such as pubs or dinner parties even corsets tops for shopping.

The corset top paired with jeans is suitable for upmarket casual events like going out to a restaurant, or to see a film, smart-casual dinner or cocktail parties and evening functions. To help the corset effect, the stomach should be completely beneath the waistband and unless your legs are thin, do not let the jeans grip onto your flesh tightly, you do not want anything bulging out, and choose jeans with the highest waist you can find.

Pay attention to the shapes that look good on you. Make a mental note of the shapes of the clothes you often wear, do you wear lots of plunge tops, or boat neck tops, trousers or skirts? A plunge bra will often look great on a fuller figure as it will draw the eye to the cleavage, and a balcony shape bra can lift and enhance a smaller bust.

Control wear lingerie can be for everybody, anytime, whether a size 18 or a size 8. Choose lingerie to suit the occasion, whether it is a firm waist-cinching long leg item for an evening dress, or a light-smoothing piece for everyday wear.

A person who is of normal weight with a belly bulge may not need to lose weight at all but simply tone the muscles. However a person that is overweight or obese will not be able to get a handle on stomach weight loss without losing weight all over the body.

Before beginning any diet or exercise program, you should have an exam by your doctor. Once the doctor gives you clearance you may begin exercising, dieting or both.

Persons that simply need to tighten stomach muscles may want to include crunches in their exercise routing. As the muscles tissue is exercised, there are small tears in the tissue that is repaired with muscle. You will want to include plenty of protein in order for the tissue to have the necessary building blocks to make more muscle.

To achieve this goal, try to lower your caloric intake while increasing your activity level. If you can maintain a two pound weight loss every week, you will reach your goal at a safe level. Persons losing weight at this rate have more success at maintaining the weight loss over time.

If you are in the underweight category you should not be attempting to lose weight. If you are having difficulty with your body image, you should visit with your doctor who can make a recommendation of a counselor that will help you to prevent an eating disorder.

Persons that are in the normal weight range who still are experiencing a stomach bulge may simply need to add some exercises to their routine to tighten up the stomach muscles. It often only take a few weeks of additional exercises to see real results in your mid section. A trainer at your gym or health club can help you to develop an exercise program that will tighten those stomach muscles to give a flatter appearing stomach.

Persons who are overweight or obese can have both health and body image improved by losing weight. While you will find fad diets that can help you to lose weight quickly, many do not offer a maintenance plan and people suffer from rebound weight gain. In cases where dialysis isn\’t a treatment choice, protein ought to be regulated to 0.6 grams per kilogram physique pounds. While this is really a well accepted worth, it should not exceed more than 40 grams on any individual.

When you are on dialysis, it\’s significantly less restrictive on protein as it can be individualized to 1.0 to 1.4 g/kg of physique weight.

On both occasions, however, the use of biologically high worth proteins is strongly suggested.

During the oliguric phase, sodium salt may be restricted to 1000 to 2000 mg and potassium to 1000 mg per day. These are two of the most vital electrolytes that the physique needs and they may be lost during the period of frequent urination. Thus, replacement may be required.

So — you can spend hundreds of dollars a month on a gym membership plus personal trainer, or you can download a range of great workout videos from a trusted source for next to nothing. Still trying to decide? Here are 5 reasons to go with the videos.

#5: Work Out in the Park, If You Want.

Don\’t be locked into the gym\’s schedule and opening hours. Instead, do your workout videos at home, at the park, or anywhere you want, really. And it doesn\’t matter if you feel like working out at 6am or midnight — the videos are always ready.

#4: Trainers Are Busy People.

Sure, it\’s hard to replace the direct contact with a trainer that you might get at the gym. But are you prepared to pay for that contact? If you\’re just on a basic membership, it\’s not always easy to get an overworked trainer to come over and explain 16 different exercises to you.

#3: No Shame In Rewinding.

If you have to ask a personal trainer how to do an exercise more than 5 times, you might start trying their patience. Thankfully, with a video, although you might lack that face-to-face interaction, you can go back two billion times until you\’ve got the move perfect, and no one will ever look askance at you.

#2: There Are Thousands of Videos Out There.

A gym is a gym. Besides staff changes, major renovations, or the creativity of the trainers, it doesn\’t change so much. Whereas with a set of workout videos, you can pick and choose from dozens (hundreds?) of different routines.

#1: Easy on the Eyes.

Hey, I\’m not saying there aren\’t some beautiful people at the gym. But most trainers who make workout videos — be it men or women — aren\’t too shabby to look at, either. While exercise is still the crucial thing, there\’s nothing like an attractive trainer to keep you motivated.

Ready to jump in? With hundreds of fitness videos and exercise plans available online, you can organize your daily or weekly workout routines and get into shape faster than you can throw away your gym membership.

Who needs ab workouts anyway? Rather than slaving away with real exercise, why not check out these wonderfully creative, not-at-all insane ways to get those abs you want? Seriously!

#5 Lean, Toned Abs are So Last-Year.

What, you didn\’t hear about it? Yeah, no one is really doing those ab workouts anymore, because no one really gives a crap about lean, nice abs. #4 Most Extra Fat Finds its Way to Easily Concealable Areas.

Yeah, fine, we gain some fat — but who has ever heard of anyone\’s body \’placing\’ that fat in an unfortunate place? I know we just chatted about those pot bellies above, but really, it\’s not a big deal, because our bodies figure it all out and send the fat to places that never really see the light of day. So just eat away and don\’t really worry, you\’ll be fine!

#3 Beaches? What Beaches?

Think about it. We\’ve got global warming, we\’ve got pollution, it\’s all pretty crazy, and who really wants to go to the beach anymore? No one really spends any time there — I haven\’t heard of anyone going to the beach in years, and I\’m practically an expert about these things.

#2 You Can Just Exercise At Your Desk!

There\’s a reason there are all those infomercials on TV selling those pulsating weird machines that you hook up to your abs. It\’s because they work so wonderfully well! Just apply the gel, attach the electrodes, plug in the machine, turn it on, and watch the pounds loudly, automatically, magically melt away! I swear, it really…. works!

#1 What Could Ever Be Wrong With Diet Pills?

Hey, diet pills have always worked, right? No one has ever gotten addicted to them, realized half of them are just sugar pills, or that the other half of them are wonderfully dangerous for your bodies and your health? Nah, no way! Pop those dangerous pills and bid \”adieu\” to those annoying crunches, right?

More on Weight Loss Programs

February 25, 2010 by Ray Fitz

Are you thinking diet or weight loss? Unless this is your first diet, you\’re going to need an ACTION PLAN. The key words are Action and Plan. My philosophy:

Action without planning is futile Planning without action is worthless.

You know this true when it comes to weight loss. Every diet business will give you a plan. They will make you take action. The will be weigh-ins, charts and/or logins. Many will have meetings. A few have buddy systems. There is always Action and Plan, Plan and Action.

No matter which plan or system you choose, follow the plan. Lose the weight. Become beautiful. Wear thin people clothes. Go on television as the person that lost all that weight. Be loved by millions. Get a sports car. Be admired. Be interviewed. Write a book. Let the exciting person inside of you out. Or, do nothing, change nothing, and remain as you are.

We\’ve just finished reading online reviews of about thirty weight loss plans, everything from NutriSystems and Weight Watchers to Fatloss4idiots to Jarrod\’s Subway diet. They discussed health, calories, protein, diet pills, weight gain, carbs, grapefruit, and just about everything else that\’s involved in being healthy. They reviewed how to lose weight with exercise, diet foods, and all forms of diet plans. You can get hypnosis. You can get diet pills. All of them have one objective- to help you if you really want to lose weight. We were looking for the right plan for me. Some of the weight loss programs I considered are very good, some, not so much. One review really caught my eye. It was a testimonial on a major website from a woman that simply blew me away. She was asked about her current low calorie diet. Maybe she didn\’t mean it as a testimonial, but here it is. You decide. \”Whenever I find that weight isn\’t falling off of me based on reduced calories (Plan A), I just go back to Plan B. I dropped just about 4 lbs by day 4. I\’m always amazed at how this diet works for me.\” – K. Jones (via email) I can see where someone might could call that a testimonial. Would you? Testimonials are there to convince you that you can do it. You already know you can lose the weight, keeping it off is the problem. The testimonials are just there to reinforce your own opinion. Heck, you could even become a spokesperson for the plan of your choice. You could be doing the testimonial! Look at all of them you see on TV. Any one of them COULD BE YOU! They want you to succeed and show others. You are worthy, so do it!

Remember this: If you agree to do something and don\’t do it, it is no different than if you had not agreed to it in the first place. It doesn\’t matter what it is, it\’s no different than not agreeing in the first place.

We have done a lot of homework on this subject because it matters. We have written many reviews of many products, including several times about this lady\’s particular plan. The question becomes, \”Why is it just a backup plan?\” Well, there are a couple of reasons, but mostly, she isn\’t where she wants to be and she isn\’t sticking to her plan to get there. She agreed to Plan A, but isn\’t doing it. She isn\’t sticking to her own plan to lose weight so she thinks that by adding a second plan to the works that everything will be okay. She may as well not have gone on Plan A in the first place. Besides, mixing two different diet plans is not going to get her where she feels she has to be. It will probably cost her her health in the long run.

Sorry! If you don\’t make a decision on what you want, set some goals, create a plan, and work at it, you won\’t lose much weight, and if you lose the weight without exercise, you won\’t tone up at all. I know the exercise is hard, but better to have hard exercise than hard arteries.

The rest? It\’s pretty simple, really. It\’s up to you. You have to set up a plan and follow it. Lose the weight. Become beautiful. Wear thin people clothes. Go on television as the person that lost all that weight. Be loved by millions. Get a sports car. Be admired. Be interviewed. Write a book. Let the exciting person inside of you out. Or do nothing, change nothing, and remain as you are.

That\’s my opinion. It\’s really very simple. Make a choice and take the action that goes with it. It is working for me, and it will work for you.

Do it now! The time has come to lose weight.Weight loss and get the program. Remember, it\’s all about you! Do this because YOU deserve it. Get a totally unique version of this article from our article submission service

Can You Really Lose Weight with Wu Yi Tea?

February 25, 2010 by Caitlin Ryan

Seems too easy, right? Drink a few mugs of wu yi tea and lose weight without effort? I did not believe it either and then something peculiar happened over the holiday season.

Just a bit about me, first. I like to work out. I like to stay in decent shape and at an ideal body weight. I am not perfect. I like to indulge on occasion and if life gets too hectic, I usually do not make time for exercise. Consequently, I gain some weight now and again and then have to burn it back off. The holiday season is one of those times.

So, the lack of working out coupled with tons of food over the holiday season leaves me with a bit of a gut by mid-January. I trade in my skinny jeans (no longer able to be buttoned) for my jogging pants and burn the excess pounds. But guess what happened this holiday season?

Around the beginning of December, a neighbor gave me a box of wu yi tea. She knew I liked tea and she did not (I think she was re-gifting!). Anyway, I thought it was pretty tasty. It is not as grassy tasting as green tea, but a little better for you than black tea. Nice, mild flavor. I certainly was not drinking it for weight loss because that just seemed silly.

I went about my business, shopping, decorating, wrapping, working and of course, eating all the lovely, fattening holiday cuisine such as prime rib, mashed potatoes, cheesecake and of course, eggnog martinis. I did not have any time to work out (nor did I feel like it while eating like that!).

After the craziness of the season was over, I reluctantly went to the scale. I had not noticed my jeans getting tighter, but I hoped my ab exercises in October and November had maybe helped me sort of hold in the fat. Not that it would not be there. Do you have any idea how many calories are in cheesecake? (Oh, and the pecan pie? And the brownies?)

Wrong! I lost weight three pounds! I still did not believe it could be the wu yi tea. I knew it was loaded with anti-oxidants and when I reread the label, I figured out it also had wu yi tea extract. This sort of boosted its abilities to increase fat-burning.

Still not convinced, I did a little test. I stopped using the wu yi tea in my iced tea and went back to just black tea. I did not eat cheesecake (kind of tired of it), nor did I pig out. I ate around the amount of calories one would consume to maintain their current weight. I did not work out.

After a month, I had gained the three pounds back. So, you decide. Will a few mugs of wu yi tea help you lose weight without effort? Probably not if you intend to continue eating too much and not working out (eventually, your body would adjust). But I sure did not mind the boost wu yi tea gave me!

Can you really lose weight with wu yi tea? Go there and discover how to lose those all those extra pounds with wu yi green tea!

Laxative Use For Managing Recurrent Constipation

February 23, 2010 by Yuri Kakharov

Most people who suffer from constipation manage a type known as functional or idiopathic constipation. This type of constipation is so called because the underlying cause is not identifiable, yet the condition can be easy diagnosed due to the symptoms. Treatment at first consists of increased dietary fiber. If this is ineffective, patients are recommended to try a laxative.

There seems to be widespread agreement among scientists and doctors that the judicious use of laxative constipation treatments is tolerated and safe. However, as some patients take such medications over extended periods, suspicions have surfaced about long-term side effects and problems. A result of these suspicions are some misconceptions about laxative use.

There are three kinds of misconceptions about laxative usage. The first is the idea that long term use causes nerves in the gastrointestinal tract to be damaged. The second is the idea that long term use leads to higher chance of cancer. The third is that the gut starts to become \”immune\” to laxatives and perhaps suffer \”rebound\” effects that worsen constipation.

On the topic of the first misconception, reports about nerve damage came up first in a survey of patients who were using laxative constipation treatments. Colonoscopy showed discoloration in their intestinal lining, and some were diagnosed with damage to the nerves. But the correlative link was never made definitive. Many criticized the findings by pointing out in general patients with constipation had more chance of nerve damage, regardless of laxative use or not.

With respect to the second, reports linking laxatives to cancer were suggested by experimentation on animals. Rats fed extreme doses of anthraquinones had higher mutations in cells, leading to cancer-like problems. But the studies were not easily translatable to the human context because the doses were very non-realistic. Similar studies with extreme concentrations of aspartame sweetener and peanut oils show a cancer link, but are rarely relevant for realistic human consumption.

With respect to the third, informal evidence from self-reporting patients suggested the idea of rebound and intolerance to laxatives. Well-controlled studies, on the other hand, showed that in patients who had used medication for as long as 30 years still benefited from consistent usage. Animal studies suggested also a lack of the intolerance effect.

It would seem that laxatives should not be discounted for their great utility against constipation because of these misconceptions. Patients should continue to research for themselves and ally with their doctors to understand the evidence concerning laxative efficacy.

The writings supplied for constipation treatments will be informative to many. This and related topics on home remedy constipation are accessible to all.
